In a medium pot, add 4 oz of water or chicken broth for a more traditional flavor.

Add 2 tablespoons of Mole Oaxaqueño La Monjita, stir to combine, and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to a gentle simmer and continue stirring for about 3 minutes.

Remove from heat and let stand for 5–10 minutes to thicken.
